SAN FRANCISCO – July 31, 2015 – Melissa Pesci, AIA, LEED AP, associate principal at HGA Architects and Engineers, an integrated architecture, engineering and planning firm, was recently honored by CoreNet Global as one of its top ‘36 Young Leaders Under 36.’ Pesci directs new project development out of the firm’s San Francisco office for its Corporate Practice Group. Her expertise includes architectural design, interior design, space planning, workplace strategy and sustainable design.
Following a collaborative design process that captures input from clients to create innovative corporate and workplace environments, Pesci is focused on tailoring the relocation process to each client to make the experience as rewarding as the finished product. This includes integral involvement in overseeing projects from programming and building selection all the way through the completion of construction. Pesci strives for innovative workplace design that supports and enhances employee well-being, productivity and efficiency.
Pesci is frequently engaged in leadership roles of industry organizations and is active in the commercial real estate community as a member of the Urban Land Institute and current co-chair of the Northern California CoreNet Young Leaders group. Pesci is also involved in a number of charity organizations, leading CANstruction teams since 2012 and has been an active participant and significant fundraiser for LEAP since 2012. Pesci also values mentorship and is a long-time participant in University of Michigan’s extern program where she mentors a student for the year and allows the student to shadow her for an entire week during spring break.
