HGA Hires Caesar Ho in San Jose Office

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Aug. 19, 2016 — HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) has hired Caesar Ho, AIA, as a principal and associate vice president in the San Jose office. He will help build new business opportunities with technology-focused clients for the office’s growing Corporate Practice Group.

Ho has more than 30 years of design and project management experience working on science, technology and research and development projects in the Bay Area and internationally, including data centers, clean rooms, research labs, and life science labs. Leading clients have included Abbott Labs, LLNL, Proctor & Gamble, Roche, Stanford University and University of California, Davis. He currently is collaborating with Apple on a project.

“I focus on building long-term relationships with clients to help guide them through industry changes,” Ho says. “I see my role as an advisor and resource to clients, offering science and technology expertise about their facility investments.”

Before joining HGA, he was with DES Architects + Engineers in Redwood City, CA, where he led the Science & Technology studio. He previously held leadership positions with SOM and Gensler in Houston, and HOK in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Ho has a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Board member of the Chinese Bioscience Association (CBA), a non-profit that promotes education, networking and community building for life science professionals.
