San Francisco – HOK announces that Marc Arnold, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, joins HOK San Francisco as Senior Vice President and Director of Operations. He will be responsible for the practice’s daily operations working closely with the management committee, the finance department and the discipline leaders across the firm.
Marc earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Arizona State in 1984 and his MBA with the Advanced Management Institute of Architecture and Engineering (AMI) in San Francisco in 1999. Marc brings 29 years of experience to the architectural profession and is well known in the industry as a leader in management best practices. He remains connected to projects and often serves as the Principal-in-Charge. He most recently managed the programming and master planning through construction documentation phase for the $230 million, 250,000 sq. ft., Port of Calexico West, Land Port of Entry in Calexico, California.
Marc is a member of the AIA, active in the Bay Area Council and involved with the Association of AE Business Leaders (AEBL), a local leadership organization that helps promote business best practices in both natural and built environments.
Current projects being led by HOK’s San Francisco office include the San Francisco Public Safety Building, Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Redwood City, the University of California Davis Veterinary Medicine Research Facility, the Stanford Hospital & Clinics North Campus in Redwood City, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Pacific Regional Center in Hawaii, Salt Lake City International Airport and the New Hamad International Airport in Qatar.
