“Riccardo has been a friend and a colleague for more than a decade. Knowing his ethics and enthusiasm for the business made our decision to bring him on as a Principal an easy one,” comments Slonek. “He will maintain his current clientele and procure new relationships by leveraging our project management, lease administration and property management service lines. He will truly excel and rise to the next level in our Principal-led, client-centric culture.”

Slonek continues: “Furthermore, Riccardo’s knowledge, expertise and experience in Bay Area commercial real estate will be of tremendous value to Avison Young and, most importantly, our clients as we continue to expand our footprint throughout Northern California, the rest of North America and overseas.”

Gale brings to Avison Young 10 years of commercial real estate experience with Newmark Cornish & Carey, where he focused on tenant representation in the central business and SOMA districts of San Francisco. During his career, he has completed more than 180 office lease transactions totaling in excess of 900,000 rentable square feet on behalf of such prestigious clients as Health Net, Splunk and Dow Jones.

Before entering the commercial real estate industry, Gale co-founded a well-respected technical recruiting agency serving the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. Gale holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Lafayette College in Easton, PA and a Master of Business Administration, with a marketing concentration, from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. He is active in his community with the Guardsmen, a philanthropic group that serves at-risk youth in the Bay Area.

“I am very excited to be joining my peers at Avison Young, whom I have always held in the highest regard both personally and professionally,” says Gale. “I am confident that my clients will benefit from our in-house project management, construction management and lease administration expertise. As a Principal, I relish the opportunity to help steer the course for Avison Young in San Francisco for many years to come.”

He adds: “I look forward to taking advantage of the outstanding pool of talent at Avison Young to better serve our clients throughout the region. I am also looking forward to collaborating with my new Avison Young colleagues in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. as we facilitate national and international sales and leasing transactions.”
