The top 10 largest owners of Oakland’s square footage collectively possess over 5.6 million square feet of out 7.4 million square feet of Class A inventory in Downtown Oakland.

CIM commands the largest market share with a 32 percent full ownership of Class A buildings around Lake Merritt district such as One Kaiser Plaza. 1333 Broadway, Center 21-2100 Franklin and 2101 Webster Street.

In the past year, there have been three major building sales in Downtown Oakland:
– 555 12th Street sold to Harvest/Prudential
– 505 14th Street & 1300 Clay Street sold to Strada/Angelo Gordon
– 1111 Broadway sold to Ellis Partners/PIMCO
