John Jensen Joins Colliers International

July 2, 2011, San Francisco – Colliers International announces that John Jensen has joined its San Francisco office as Senior Vice President of the Office Division.  Previously John was a Senior Vice President at Grubb and Ellis.

“I’m excited to be joining a firm that offers such a wide array of services to its clients,” remarked Jensen.  In addition to its office brokerage group, the San Francisco office of Colliers International offers a deep bench of top professionals from Colliers International’s Hotel group, also known as PKF consulting, Valuation and Advisory Services, Multifamily, Retail and Office Investment Sales, Corporate Services, Project Management, Property Management, and urban Retail Services.

Over the course of his 22-year career, John has represented San Francisco owners in the lease or sale of more than 8.3 million square feet of office space.

“I joined Colliers International, so I can partner with its great team of professionals,” adds Jensen.  “Its culture and work ethic matches my commitment to delivering exceptional service to my clients.”

According to Alan Collenette, Executive Managing Director “Having worked with John at my old firm of Stubbs, Collenette, and subsequently at separate firms as a competitor, I have always been astonished at his capacity for persistence in the service of his clients, and his unbridled determination to outperform his clients’ expectations. We worked together on many projects, including the sale of Chevron’s world headquarters, and the leasing of such buildings as 101 Howard, 211 Main, 221 Main and countless other San Francisco highrises. Time and time again his ecstatic clients would refer him to other building owners as being an outstanding advocate for their best interests. Not just in hot markets, but particularly in the teeth of three separate downturns, John’s office landlords have experienced fully-leased buildings and above market rents and sale prices”.
