San Francisco, November 12, 2012 — Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has been appointed exclusive leasing agent for 100 Montgomery St.?, a 430,000 square foot LEED Gold office tower owned and managed by Equity Office. Steve Anderson, Bryan Ivie and Wes Powell are the leasing brokers.
Equity Office, which also owns the iconic Ferry Building as well as more than 18 million square feet of commercial office space in the Bay Area, acquired the Class A office tower last month for an undisclosed price from Hines Interests and Sterling American Properties.
Originally constructed in 1955 as the headquarters of Equitable Life Insurance, 100 Montgomery was extensively renovated in 2009 at a cost of $30 million. The 25-story tower’s downtown location offersconvenient access to public transit such as BART and Muni, a variety of retail and restaurant amenities as well as the city’s many cultural destinations. Space availability includes three full floors — two upper floors in shell condition, and one 20,000 s.f. lower floor with private offices. The remaining space consists of a 14,000 s.f. open plan office and several suites ranging in size from 1,500 to 7,000 s.f.
