Equity Office, which also owns the iconic Ferry Building as well as more than 18 million square feet of commercial office space in the Bay Area, acquired the Class A office tower last month for an undisclosed price from Hines Interests and Sterling American Properties.

“This building offers everything that an employer seeking quality space in San Francisco today islooking for and could need: sustainable, creative workspace environments inhistoric, recently renovated surroundings with superior amenities, a highlyregarded, well capitalized owner/manager with a long track record of ownership in the Bay Area and a terrific location in the heart of the city’s commercial core,” said Steve Anderson, Jones Lang LaSalle.
