McFarland-Werner has nearly 20 years in the industry, the last twelve of which were spent as publisher of the Bay Area Building Management Guide and leading educational workplace planning tours of corporate headquarter facilities for corporate real estate, facilities executives and architects. McFarland-Werner brings a broad base of knowledge and long standing relationships in the Bay Area commercial real estate industry. Her background and workstyle focuses on supporting client’s aspirations and cultivating knowledge of workplace trends. Through industry experience and close involvement with the end users, she delivers collaborative, thoughtful value to each project.
A Bay Area native, McFarland-Werner hosts a passion for community involvement and philanthropy. She’s held leadership positions within many organizations including IFMA Silicon Valley, BOMA Silicon Valley, CoreNet Global, served 2- four year terms on the San Jose Arena Authority Board, five years on the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame Board and was one of the original founding members of the USGBC Silicon Valley Branch. She also donates time volunteering for projects with both Beautiful Day and Rebuilding Together programs.
