Sacramento, Calif. – Colliers International’s Thomas Walcott, Senior Vice President, and Tommy O. Ponder, Vice President, have assisted both the buyer and seller of 2601 Fair Oaks Blvd. which sold for $3,050,000.
Thomas Walcott of Colliers represented the owner of the two-story, 14,506 SF office building on the corner of Fair Oaks Blvd. and Munroe Street. The property is a landmark building with prime location, extensive traffic, prestige visibility and under ground parking. The building was the former home of Summit Funding which vacated 9 months ago. The marketing period for the building spanned nearly two years as the building was put on the market early because it was known that Summit would leave at the end of their lease term.
Tommy O. Ponder of Colliers represented the buyer, an engineering firm with an industrial component.
“My client was primary attracted to the location of the property. They are targeting the higher-end employee with intentions to outsource manufacturing. They will utilize the property as their headquarters.” – Tommy O. Ponder.
