LandMark worked closely with city officials and the community to bring a 15,312-square-foot CVS/Pharmacy to an abandoned storefront property located at 1760 Ocean Ave. in San Francisco’s Ingleside neighborhood. What was once a magnet for graffiti is now a full-service pharmacy meeting needs in a previously underserved neighborhood.
Customers have responded positively to the opening, commenting: “This place is a lifesaver…!” The store is conveniently located directly in front of a light rail stop, offering ease for commuters as well as an onsite parking lot for local residents.
Oakland’s new CVS/Pharmacy is located on the corner 73rd Avenue and Bancroft Avenue. LandMark worked with the city and Councilwoman Desley Brooks to open this location in an extremely underserved east Oakland neighborhood. The CVS/Pharmacy fills a long vacated space on the 73rd street frontage in the community- and civic- oriented Eastmont Town Center which employs about 1,500 workers. LandMark added 13,821 square feet to the space and constructed a convenient drive-thru option. This location attracts about 1,000 to 1,500 daily visitors. It’s served by six bus lines. The nearest chain drug store is almost a mile south, making this CVS/Pharmacy the most convenient and functional shopping option in the community.
