Sunnyvale, California (July 8, 2021) – Landsea Homes Corporation (Nasdaq: LSEA) (“Landsea Homes” or the “Company”), a publicly traded residential homebuilder, announced today that construction has officially begun on its new community, Lavender in Sunnyvale, CA.

“We’re very excited to break ground on Lavender, a modern and welcoming new townhome community that will allow homebuyers to thrive and truly ‘live in their element’,” said Josh Santos, Northern California Division President, Landsea Homes. “Our previous townhome communities in Silicon Valley, The Vale and Catalina, both sold out quickly and we anticipate Lavender will also be well-received. Buyers are looking for living that offers high quality modern-day conveniences, state-of-the-art amenities and easy access to transportation, which Lavender will provide.”

Lavender will consist of homes with nine different floor plans ranging in size from 1,078 square feet to 2,011 square feet. Additionally, 20 of the townhomes will be priced below market rate. Homes at Lavender are expected to be available later this year.

With a population of approximately 157,000 residents, Sunnyvale is the seventh largest city in the Bay Area. Almost 8,000 local businesses provide a rich mixture of goods and services, including many icons in tech, manufacturing, retail and R&D.

Homes at Lavender will be equipped with Landsea Homes’ High Performance Home features, including smart home automation technology utilized by the Apple HomeKit™ environment. The smart home automation features include an Apple TV media manager device, wireless network Internet throughout the home, entry door locks, thermostat control, garage door opener control, light dimmer switches, doorbell camera pre-wire, and high-touch customer service with an individualized training session.

Last month, Landsea Homes sold out its 93-home community, Catalina in Santa Clara in just 19 months.

“Catalina spotlights the best of California living. The homes and community were thoughtfully designed to combine luxury, flexible living and unique architecture, and we’re thrilled to see so many happy homeowners,” added Santos.
