PALO ALTO and SAN JOSE, Calif., August 3, 2015 – Hopkins & Carley, a law firm serving Silicon Valley businesses and individuals, announces the addition of Lisa Stalteri and Jennifer Johnson as shareholders. Both will reside in the firm’s growing Palo Alto office.
“The addition of Lisa and Jennifer is a real coup. They have teamed together to build a terrific practice, representing Fortune 100 and private companies and high-net-worth individuals in a variety of commercial real estate matters. Their experience spans the gamut of sophisticated real estate transactions, including complex acquisitions, dispositions, construction, financing and international leasing,” said Hopkins & Carley’s Managing Shareholder Jeffrey Essner.
Garth Pickett, Co-Chair of Hopkins & Carley’s Real Estate Department said, “We are very excited about bringing Lisa and Jennifer on board. They are highly respected by their peers and industry professionals, and they bring some unique expertise to our client offerings: Lisa has extensive experience with sustainable development and environmental issues, and Jennifer is one of a handful of lawyers with deep international leasing expertise for blue chip clients.”
With more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, Stalteri advises public and private companies and high-net-worth individuals on a broad range of complex real estate transactions. “Hopkins & Carley’s Real Estate Group has been involved in a large number of the area’s high-profile projects; they understand the unique characteristics of Silicon Valley businesses, and the importance of providing sophisticated, practical and value-based counsel. In addition, I’m delighted that Hopkins & Carley has construction, litigation and land use expertise, which will be added benefits to offer clients,” said Stalteri.
