Former Trammell Crow Multi-Family Manager to Lead Texas and Colorado Residential Pipeline
FOSTER CITY, Calif. (October 8, 2018) — Legacy Partners (Legacy), a privately owned national real estate firm, announced today the hiring of Robert “Bob” Panizo as Vice President of Development in Legacy’s Dallas, Texas development office. He will manage Legacy’s multi-family development projects in Texas, as well as provide support to some of Legacy’s Colorado activities.
“Bob has an incredibly strong background in multi-family construction and development,” said Spencer Stuart, Senior Managing Director at Legacy. “We were immediately impressed with his experience working with industry titans, such as Trammell Crow, Sabre Holdings, Verizon and Citi Group, as well as his ability to remain collaborative and agile throughout every stage of the development process. We’re confident that he will be an invaluable member of our team’s growing national presence.”
As Vice President of Development, Panizo will oversee various multi-family residential apartment projects throughout Texas and Colorado, including the upcoming delivery of TriVista on Speer, in Denver, and Legacy Lakeshore in Las Colinas’ urban center in Irving, Texas.
Prior to joining Legacy, Panizo was a Senior Project Manager in Trammell Crow’s and Harwood International Development’s Dallas offices, where he helped lead the delivery of various complex high-rise residential apartment towers such as the Dallas communities Alexan Carlisle, Vine, and Bleu Ciel Condominiums, and the Austin development Alexan Capitol.
“I’ve long been impressed by Legacy Partners’ keen eye for smart development in high-impact submarkets nationwide,” said Bob Panizo. “In Texas and Colorado, we have a large number of development sites that are either under construction, delivering soon, or groundbreaking at any moment. It’s really an exciting time to join the company at this stage in their five-decade history.”
Before working with Harwood, Panizo was an on-site Construction Manager for Citi Group in Irving, Texas where he oversaw the development of a Dallas and San Antonio mega-campus, totaling more than 2.5 MM square feet across nine separate buildings and over $ 50 MM of construction, renovations, additions, upgrades, facilities and restack.
Panizo graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Construction Sciences and Management. He is USGBC LEED program trained and OSHA certified.
Legacy recently announced an expansion into the Southeast U.S. with the hiring of Jon Wood as Senior Managing Director in a newly-opened Orlando, Florida office; and, this year alone, the company has delivered more than 1,385 multi-family units communities across three states, making 2018 one of their most active years.
