Lilian Fu to Head Lighting Design Group in WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s San Francisco Buildings Office

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Lilian Fu has been appointed a senior associate and head of the buildings lighting practice in the San Francisco office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.


In her new position, Ms. Fu will manage WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s buildings lighting design practice for all of Northern California. The team in San Francisco is currently providing lighting design for the Bangkok Tower and Temple with architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill LLP, and the Bechtel Residence Hall at the California Institute of Technology with ZGF Architects LLP.

Ms. Fu has more than 20 years of experience, designing and managing a variety of lighting projects, including offices, laboratories, civic and historic buildings, museums, retail, hospitality, multi-family residential, and urban parks. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, she was a senior associate with a San Francisco lighting design firm, working on projects such as Google and the Treasure Island Streetscape and Parks Masterplan in San Francisco, the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, and the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo, California.

A graduate of Penn State University with a B.A.E. in illumination engineering, Ms. Fu is a lighting certified professional with the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions. She is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.
