Mr. Weinstein Brings 20 Years of Commercial Real Estate Experience to Expand WiredScore’s Footprint on the West Coast
New York, NY – November 17, 2015 – WiredScore, the pioneer behind the international Wired Certification standard that distinguishes best-in-class Internet connectivity in office buildings, today announced that David Weinstein has joined as Director of Business Development, West Coast. With more than twenty years of commercial real estate experience in the Bay Area, Mr. Weinstein brings his comprehensive understanding of the regional market to WiredScore.
“With David’s deep expertise in commercial real estate, we look forward to building on WiredScore’s already growing presence on the West Coast,” said Arie Barendrecht, CEO and co-founder of WiredScore. “Having previously managed portfolios comprised of millions of square feet of office space, David understands firsthand the needs of all stakeholders in commercial real estate and how Internet connectivity is critical to the entire industry.”
Mr. Weinstein joins WiredScore from Kilroy Realty Corporation, where he was the Vice President of Asset Management for Northern California. Prior to that, he served as the Vice President/Regional Manager of PS Business Parks, where he managed a portfolio of 50 commercial properties totaling 7.5 million square feet across Northern California. He has previously worked at Equity Office Properties Trust, MSI Properties, Pacific Gulf Properties, and Cardoza Properties.
“Throughout my career in commercial real estate, tech capabilities have become an increasingly important consideration for tenants seeking new office space,” said David Weinstein. “The West Coast’s booming tech economy is stifled without strong, reliable Internet. Wired Certification assures tenants that a building will support their tech requirements from the moment they move in and for years to come.”
Mr. Weinstein is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in California, a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA) and has served on both the National and Silicon Valley Chapters of NAIOP. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Syracuse University.
