NEMA Announces Pre-Leasing Availability for 37-Story North Tower and 14-Story North Mid-Rise

San Francisco’s Newest and Largest Luxury Rental Community Will Welcome Residents to its North Buildings in February 2014

SAN FRANCISCO (December 11, 2013) – NEMA®, a Crescent Heights® Inspired Community in the heart of San Francisco’s burgeoning Mid-Market neighborhood, has announced pre-leasing availability for the second phase of its luxury rental community – a 37-story high-rise and a 14-story mid-rise. Following the extraordinary success of its two adjacent South towers, now 100 percent leased, the North buildings will debut modern studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units starting in February 2014.

NEMA San Francisco real estate The RegistryThe NEMA community affords guests an unprecedented lifestyle in one of San Francisco’s most rapidly re-emerging neighborhoods. Designed by Glenn Rescalvo, partner at Handel Architects, NEMA’s North structures will showcase an elegant lobby featuring a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, a 7,000-square-foot Jay Wright-designed fitness center, and a state-of-the-art outdoor interactive public art plaza by local landscape architect and artist Topher Delaney. The new high-style communal spaces and 437 residences were designed to mimic the natural beauty of Northern California, merging the indoor with the outdoor and featuring soothing textures, natural color palettes, and an eclectic collection of modern yet comfortable furnishings sourced primarily from California-based companies and craftspeople.

“We are proud and delighted to introduce NEMA’s North towers to the San Francisco marketplace in just a few short months,” said Roman Speron, regional operations manager at Crescent Heights. “Soon-to-be residents and their guests will be captivated by the North buildings’ grand scale, high ceilings and luxurious furnishings, which we feel create a sense of style and sophistication unique to San Francisco. It has remained important to us to bring the local culture inside the building. The North towers reflect that sensibility, expanding on the popular, distinctive offerings we’ve provided in the South towers.”

A newly debuted one-bedroom model unit, set on the sixteenth floor of the South building, was designed as a replica of the North side residences for the viewing convenience of potential renters. Units range in size from 463 to 1,442 square feet and feature wood floors, an in-unit washer and dryer, stainless steel kitchen appliances, European bath fixtures, programmable thermostat with zoned heating, and oversized windows with breathtaking views of iconic city images, including the Financial District skyscrapers, the dome of City Hall, the Golden Gate Bridge, Russian Hill, Bernal Heights, Twin Peaks and the San Francisco Bay.

Service-driven and highly amenitized, NEMA boasts an array of high-tech lifestyle features, including digital touch-screen message boards, fiber to all units, destination-entry smart elevators, keyless entry doors, a full-service mobile app, and an integrated sound system with music selected to match the mood and ambiance of various areas at different times of day. Other services uniquely cater to San Franciscans, including a 24/7 concierge, “Pet Spaw,” organic farm delivery, organized outings to Lake Tahoe and Napa Valley, and an expansive garage with 24/7 valet, bike storage and electric car charging stations. Social, professional and wellness retreats are prominent throughout NEMA, such as the full-service Business Lounge, sleek Club Solarium, light-infused Energy Solarium, heated saline pool, and expansive landscaped terraces on the 3rd, 11th and 24th floors.

Beginning in summer 2014, NEMA residents will also have unique access to a new restaurant and lounge located on the ground floor of the building. Building on the recent surge of Mid-Market restaurant and bar openings, acclaimed chef Suvir Saran announced plans for his grand 8,500-square-foot concept, which will service all apartments and communal spaces in addition to running as a full-service restaurant for local San Franciscans as well as city visitors from around the world.

NEMA is located at 14 10th Street. Potential renters who wish to schedule an appointment can e-mail or call 415-552-6362. To learn more about the project, please visit
