New Carter’s Store to Open at Alameda South Shore

Alameda, Calif. (December 16, 2013) – Jamestown, a leading national real estate investment and management firm, has announced that Carter’s, a popular brand of children’s clothing and accessories, has signed a 10-year lease for a new 4,178-square-foot store at Alameda South Shore Center.

The new Carter’s store, located close to Kohl’s, is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2014.

“With more visitors coming to South Shore Center for family events, dining and shopping, Carter’s realized this was an excellent opportunity for a new store location,” said Julie Taylor, senior vice president of Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank, who along with broker Stephen Rusher, handled the lease for Jamestown.
