Oakland and the Central Valley now rank among the costliest places in the Americas to build a warehouse, with small-shell pricing above $175 per square foot and a premium of roughly $3.5 million per project over the hemispheric average, according to Cushman & Wakefield's latest industrial cost benchmarks.
