Peloton Interactive Leases ±27,000 SQFT Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Richmond

Richmond, Calif. (July 23, 2019) Colliers International announced today the lease of, a ±27,000 square foot industrial warehouse/distribution facility located at 2500 Atlas Road in Richmond, CA.

The facility is owned and managed by Global Logistics Properties. It was leased to Peloton Interactive, an American exercise equipment and media company based in New York City. Its main product is a luxury stationary bicycle that allows users to stream spinning classes for the company’s fitness studio through a monthly subscription service.

The ±27,000 SF warehouse space features ±3,600 square feet of office space, 30’ clear height, 7 dock-high doors, 1 grade level door, skylights and sprinklers throughout, and it is located at the intersection of Atlas and Giant Hwy. 2500 Atlas Road offers premium access to interstates I-80 and I-580 as it is central in the Richmond industrial market. The property is located at the base of Pinole Point Regional Shoreline and is across the street from the Richmond Country Club. 

Peloton is a “smart bike,” combining a single wheel exercise bike similar to those used for various branded programs like Spinning, Flywheel or Soul Cycle type classes, with cutting edge technology. It comes with a 21.5 inch Wi-Fi enabled 1080 High Definition flat screen monitor above the handlebars. It uses your home WiFi to stream both “live” classes from its physical NYC studio in real time, and an unbelievable treasure trove of past classes on-demand, there are more than three thousands of them.
