San Jose, CA – Colliers International Chairman Andre’ R. Walewski announced today that Sabine Zimmerhansl has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer for the Colliers International offices in California’s Silicon Valley and lower San Francisco Peninsula, the East Bay, Central Valley and the Nevada offices in Reno and Las Vegas.
Ms. Zimmerhansl is responsible for the overall corporate marketing strategy and all creative products of the company’s printed, online, multi-media and social media materials. Ms. Zimmerhansl also works closely with Colliers clients directly to develop unique, innovative branding/repositioning solutions and identity for their projects.
She previously managed the marketing department for Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank throughout Northern California and was instrumental in moving traditional marketing tactics into multimedia platforms and using technology in new and innovative ways.
Ms. Zimmerhansl is known for creating comprehensive marketing programs that uniquely position commercial property in its marketplace and she has successfully marketed dozens of large-scale assets and increased leasing and sales velocity as a direct result of her work. Some of the projects include:

Originally from Austria, Sabine Zimmerhansl earned a BA of Business/Marketing from HBLA fuer Kunstgewerbe in Linz, Austria and a Masters of Philosophy in Art History from Carolinum Franciskanum University in Graz, Austria.
