Sares Regis Group of Northern California Elevates Two in Residential Division

Matt Chin and Chris DeHaan Earn New Roles for their Accomplishments

SAN MATEO, CA (March 7, 2019) – Sares Regis Group of Northern California (SRGNC)’s residential development division has announced two promotions within its team. Matt Chin has been promoted to Senior Vice President for his work on land acquisitions and debt and equity financings, while Chris DeHaan has earned the new role of Assistant Vice President for his leadership in the development and completion of two separate peninsula projects.

Matt joined SRGNC in 2014 from Oaktree Capital Management, and has since been instrumental in helping the company with land acquisitions and debt and equity financings for over 20 new projects. Moving forward, Matt will continue to drive the team to pursue new business as a valuable resource in identifying new development opportunities, coordinating capital market relationships, and business development. Matt takes on an active leadership role in the local chapter of the Urban Land Institute by conceptualizing, organizing, and hosting numerous successful after-hours events throughout the year throughout the Bay Area. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.

“Our Residential team wouldn’t be where we are today without Matt’s outstanding contributions of over these past few years,” says Drew Hudacek, Chief Investment Officer, Development Properties at SRGNC. “Matt’s knowledge of new business development makes him a valuable resource for the entire company.”

Chris DeHaan

Chris DeHaan has earned his promotion to Assistant VP though leading the project teams of Colonnade in Los Altos and The Ashton in Belmont.
