Sidemark Names Bryant Rice Vice President of Strategic Accounts

Industry veteran brings 25 years’ of real estate and workplace strategy experience

Santa Clara, CA (5 October 2012) — SideMark has named Bryant Rice, AIA LEED AP, vice president of strategic accounts. In this firm-wide role, Rice, who is based in the corporate furniture dealer’s headquarters in Santa Clara, California, will focus on building best practices and creating new services for the company’s client partners.

Most recently, Bryant was a director at DEGW, a global strategic consultancy, where he was involved in workplace strategy, real estate portfolio appraisal, change management and mobility programs for such clients as the U.S. General Services Administration, Intuit, Cisco, the BBC, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Salesforce, USC Annenberg and the Disney Store. His work includes significant projects in Singapore, Bangalore, Paris and multiple locations in the United Kingdom.

Rice’s relationship with SideMark dates back more than 10 years. Prior to joining DEGW, Rice was a district manager at Teknion, a leading designer and manufacturer of office systems and furniture products. At Teknion, he provided sales support for SideMark, the largest dealer of Teknion in the U.S.

Rice received a Master of Business Administration and Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He earned his Bachelor of Science in architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology with a year at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. He also is a registered architect in California, pastpresident of AIA San Francisco, and a current board member for Pets Are Wonderful Support.
