Anchor Lease Adding to RawASF Signals Retail Rebound at Joint Venture Development of TMG Partners and Sares-Regis in Heart of Fremont at Locale and State Street
SAN FRANCISCO/FREMONT — (Mar. 16, 2021) –TMG Partners and Sares-Regis Group of Northern California, two of the San Francisco Bay Area’s largest mixed-use property developers, announced today the 3,500-square-foot retail anchor lease of SLIVER Pizzeria at Capitol Square, their joint venture development situated on the ground level of the residential Locale at State Street project. It adds to the 1,400 square feet leased to RawASF and signals a rebound of retail following a year of industry impact by the COVID-19 pandemic.

SLIVER specializes in a healthier alternative to the mainstream pizza by focusing on fresh produce as their primary source of ingredients, instead of meat products. In fact, SLIVER offers no meat products in their restaurants at all. They are committed to bringing a fresh and healthier alternative to all communities at a reasonable price! At this location, there will be an expanded daily pizza menu selection, an offering of specialty Mezcal Margaritas, more than twelve beers on tap, an exciting selection of sharable bites, daily fresh salads, live music, and a focus on creating an open community atmosphere.

Capitol Square owners are actively in discussions with additional retailers that will continue to complement and expand the retail offerings in the downtown area.

SLIVER’s new restaurant, located at the corner of Capitol Street and State Street at the center of Fremont’s new downtown district and across from the City of Fremont’s Community Event Center, is slated to open in the fall of 2021. SLIVER will join RawASF, a plant-based, fast casual vegan restaurant, scheduled to open in June 2021.
Lockehouse Retail Group’s Aaron Dan and Chris Homs led all leasing efforts for the Capitol Square owners while Retail West’s AJ Schrader advised tenant SLIVER Pizzeria.
