With Newark home values up 8.9% from 2020, Trumark debuts Newport at Compass Bay model homes

Newark, Calif. — Trumark Homes, an award-winning California homebuilder, today announced that model homes at its Newark community, Newport at Compass Bay, are now open for virtual and in-person, socially distant tours. Comprised of 85 single-family attached homes, Newport at Compass Bay offers residents a secluded location just outside San Francisco and minutes away from the bay.

With an influx of Bay Area homebuyers seeking more spacious homes in suburban communities, Newark home values jumped 8.9% in 2020 and are predicted to climb another 5.8% in 2021, according to Zillow’s January Home Value Index. Trumark anticipates its Newport community to meet a wide variety of needs for these homebuyers, including flexible living space, affordability and modern design.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has been an accelator for many homebuyers, and continues to generate renewed interest in spacious, single-family homes in more suburban neighborhoods,” said Tony Bosowski, Northern California Division President at Trumark Homes. “As demand continues to fuel homebuyer interest, we’re pleased to deliver a best-in-class product in a prime location that enables residents to still feel close to all the action and excitement Silicon Valley and San Francisco have to offer.”

Comprised of two separate neighborhoods, Newport and Dover, Compass Bay features myriad options to fit homebuyers’ needs. The Newport neighborhood offers 85 single-family attached homes ranging from 1,871 to 2,018 square feet. Homes start from the high $900,000s and offer three to four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The Dover neighborhood – made up of 53 single-family detached homes – offers more spacious floor plans, with up to four bedrooms and 2,689 square feet of living space. Newport and Dover both feature two-car garages, open floorplans, spacious kitchen islands and a contemporary craftsman design.

Located in the small town of Newark overlooking the San Francisco Bay, Compass Bay is situated in a suburban location that provides commuters with convenient access to the city. Residents can enjoy Bay Trails, community amenities and natural surroundings while remaining connected to a more urban lifestyle through the Dumbarton Bridge.

Compass Bay is one of Trumark’s four new communities in Northern California. Edendale, located in Danville, and Harmony, located in Sunnyvale, opened sales last September, Leeward at Alameda Point is currently open for sales and hard hat tours and Origin, Trumark’s first age-qualified community in Manteca is the first residential community to receive a WELL Certification™.
