Stan Laegreid, AIA, Joins Field Paoli Architects As Principal

San Francisco — Stan Laegreid, AIA, has joined Field Paoli Architects as principal, announced Yann Taylor, principal of the San Francisco architectural and urban design firm.

Laegreid has over 30 years of experience in the design of retail and mixed-use developments spanning six continents. An expert in integrating residential and retail in mixed-use projects, he most recently served as design principal for the MG2 Commercial Studio and principal and design leader in Callison’s Commercial Studio. His mixed-use projects include City Creek Center in Salt Lake City, Utah; the Pearl in Doha, Qatar; the Bravern in Bellevue, Washington; and Suwon Station in Suwon, South Korea. “The future of retail development rests in innovative mixed-use architecture,” comments Laegreid.

At Field Paoli, Laegreid will be engaging in business development with a focus on mixed-use projects in the United States and abroad, as well as furthering the office’s design culture and mentoring staff. He has been active in several industry organizations including the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, NAIOP, the Builders and Owners Management Association), and the American Institute of Architects.

He received his bachelor of arts in environmental design from the University of Washington.
