SAN JOSÉ, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2015) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) recently added lead estimator Eric Schottgen to its San José office team.
Schottgen, a Sundt veteran for more than 10 years, transferred from the general contractor’s Sacramento office to the Bay Area office to help the team with its growing portfolio of work. During his tenure at Sundt, he’s held a number of positions, including project engineer, field superintendent and estimator. In his new role, Schottgen immediately joins the preconstruction team to assist with budgeting, bidding activities, document controls and constructability reviews.
Prior to joining Sundt, Schottgen spent three years working for one of Sacramento’s top electrical contractors, providing coordination and purchasing services. Schottgen earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from California State University, Fresno. He is a Certified Professional Constructor from the American Institute of Constructors and LEED AP Building Design + Construction specialist with the U.S. Green Building Council.
