She joins JBC with impressive development credentials and, alongside Senior Vice President Ben Kochalski, will grow the San Francisco office and manage the company’s signature San Francisco development, Park Tower at Transbay. Now under construction, Park Tower is a 43-story pre-certified LEED Gold office tower which, when completed in 2018, will provide one of the most modern large blocks of space in the city with sweeping views of San Francisco Bay from almost three quarters of the building’s 750,000 rentable square feet. The building is being leased by JLL.

Ms. Treaster spent 9 years as a Director at Hines where most recently she was responsible for managing another major Transbay development: Salesforce Tower, a 1.42 million square foot office building now under construction and half leased to Salesforce.com.

“Merredith has contributed to the successful acquisition and development of more than 3 million square feet of commercial real estate in the San Francisco Bay Area and we see her as a vital part of the team for Park Tower at Transbay as well as for future developments on the West Coast,” said Richard Lindsay, the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to Hines, Ms. Treaster was an Associate with global developer Tishman Speyer and an analyst at CBRE. She is a LEED AP and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from UCLA.
