San Mateo, CA – Truebeck Construction, an industry-leading commercial general contractor, is pleased to welcome Scott Jewell as the newest Project Executive at our San Mateo, California office.
Jewell brings over 25 years of experience in construction with a history of completing ground-up and renovation projects in the K-12, higher education, high-tech, and commercial markets for clients including the California Community College system, the California State University system, the University of California system, Novellus Systems Inc., and LAM Research Corporation.
In his role at Truebeck, Jewell will oversee multiple project teams from beginning to close-out, work directly with owners and architects, and drive project schedules to ensure the best in service, value, and quality for clients.
“There are not many with Scott’s level of experience and expertise,” said Nick Pera, Chief Operating Officer of Truebeck. “His project teams and clients will benefit greatly from his leadership. We’re grateful to have him as a member of Truebeck’s executive team.”
Jewell holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California State University Chico. He is LEED AP-BD+C certified and is a certified Construction Manager with the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI). Jewell is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), the CMAA, and the San Jose Rotary Club. For six years he volunteered as a mentor in the ACE Mentor program.
