San Francisco, CA—Field Paoli Architects has promoted principal Steve Lovell, AIA, to director of design, announced Rob Anderson, president of the San Francisco architectural and urban design firm.
“This promotion recognizes the significant contributions that Steve has made to the continuing growth and success of our practice,” said Anderson. “Over the past 15 years, he has worked hand in hand with multiple client and project teams to ensure quality design and execution of our largest retail, mixeduse, and community facilities.”
Steve Lovell joined Field Paoli in 2000 and has served as the principal designer for projects ranging from libraries and community centers to large retail complexes.
Recent work includes the expansion of Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek; Fashion Outlets of San Francisco @ Candlestick; Paseo Cuernavaca in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico; and the Civic Center/Library Master Plan for the city of Pleasanton. Steve has over 30 years’ experience in the industry and is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the California Library Association, and the Society for College and University Planning. He received a master of architecture from MIT and a bachelor of fine arts from Massachusetts College of Art.
