Walnut Creek, CA (February 29, 2016) – Leases are being signed at a rapid pace at Shadelands. In the past 90 days, four leases at Center Pointe Business Park are bringing fresh tenants, echoing the business community’s support for its revitalization.
The newest lease comes from Alhouse Deaton who announced that Mitch Hertz and John Fennell of Cushman & Wakefield leased 1,550 square feet to The Law Offices of Dawn Ceizler. The law office was represented by Phil Damaschino with CBRE. Alhouse Deaton is the property manager for Centre Pointe Business Park. Cushman & Wakefield is the leasing broker for Centre Pointe.
All Shadelands tenants and the surrounding community have access to the free Contra Costa Bus Route 7, allowing for much easier travel to and from Shadelands and Pleasant Hill BART. Wrapped in Shadelands logo, the free bus service is funded by the Shadelands property owners. They run on natural gas every 16 minutes, Monday through Friday during commute hours, making multiple stops along the way, and are equipped with convenient bike racks and complimentary WiFi.
The Orchards at Walnut Creek, Shadelands budding town center, is currently under construction. When completed in Fall 2016, this 25-acre parcel will house Crunch Fitness, Safeway, Stein Mart, Petco,cafés, a four-acre park, one mile of walking trails and a host of exciting amenities and services that tenants, families, and neighbors will appreciate and enjoy.
The Orchards will also include a housing development on 3.8 acres called Viamonté at Walnut Creek, the area’s first Continuing Care Retirement Community for dynamic seniors. It will be a collaboration from Northern California Presbyterian Homes & Services and Episcopal Senior Communities. The development will provide a maximum of 200 condo-quality residences with services and amenities to enrich the lives of the aging. It’s slated to open in 2018-2019.
