SAN JOSE, Calif. – April 23, 2015 – Gensler, a global design firm, announced the promotion of Christine Laing, AIA, as Principal in its San Jose office. The appointment recognizes Laing’s outstanding leadership attributes and significant contributions to the firm’s overall success. As a Principal and Studio Director, Christine Laing oversees workplace design projects for high profile technology clients such as Symantec, Hewlett-Packard and, media and professional service firms. Laing’s 19 years with the firm reflect her passion for leadership and design excellence.

Committed to advancing the profession, Christine is an active member of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, where she has served on the Board of Directors and is currently part of the Urban Villages Committee. Her community involvement includes working with the Monte Sereno Site and Architecture Commission, the Los Gatos Union School District Citizens Bond Oversight Committee, and the Los Gatos Rowing Club Board of Directors.
Christine is a Registered Architect in the State of California and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
