SUNNYVALE, CA – Northern California general contractor Iron Construction, Inc. announced today the completion of its tenant improvement project with partner Equity Office Properties (EOP). The dramatic 20 story glass and granite Foster City property at 950 Tower Lane is over 600,000 sq ft and home to many recognizable Bay Area corporate brands.
Iron Construction completed the conversion of a large server room to a state-of-the-art fitness center for the building’s tenants. The project consisted of new restrooms, custom lighting, energy efficient fans, recycled flooring material made from tires, new smart televisions, Wi-Fi and new Life Fitness brand equipment. “The 3,266 sq ft space is amazing,” says Iron Construction COO Claudia Folzman. “It’s one of the nicest fitness centers I have ever seen and EOP has been amazing to work with.”
By creating this new environment with high-end finishes and amenities, it allows the building tenants to effectively manage work and work-out time. This project marks another successful relationship for Iron Construction and makes the peninsula the top work place for the award winning general contractor.
