Irreplaceable, Historic Property in Downtown Sausalito, CA Sells to Popular Local Clothier

After nearly half of a century the historic building at 676-686 Bridgeway in downtown Sausalito, CA has traded hands. The Demoss Family Trust sold the ±9,000 square foot, two-story property to Only in Sausalito, LLC, a local clothing business that also operates several stores in neighboring San Francisco. Centrally located in downtown just off the edge of the Richardson Bay, the property sold for just over $4 million. The new owner plans to renovate the property and will then occupy a majority of the space. Cameron Baird, a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Services group who is based in San Francisco, incollaboration with retail investment professionals Dan Wald and Eric Kathrein, also based in the city, represented the seller. Brian Foster of Cushman & Wakefield’s North Bay office solely represented the buyer.

676-686 Bridgeway is situated in an irreplaceable location in the heart of Sausalito, a national and international
tourist destination. The property boasts strong pedestrian traffic, is a short walk to the Sausalito Ferry Terminal and is zoned for mixed-use. Bridgeway is the main roadway of Sausalito, running parallel to the water through the city and offering incredible bay views.
