“We are extremely excited to be joining Kidder Mathews. Their unique and highly entrepreneurial platform will allow us to focus on our business and the in-depth supportive services they provide will help us to best assist our clients in the years ahead,” said Boyd.

“We see a tremendous opportunity to expand our services in the Tri-Cities (Glendale, Pasadena, and Burbank) to support our clients who do business there. We are very enthusiastic about the future with this group of highly experienced professionals to build our office around,” said Robert Thornburgh, SIOR, CCIM, Kidder Mathews’ executive vice president of brokerage, Greater Los Angeles.

Kidder Mathews is the fastest growing independently owned commercial real estate firm on the West Coast, with over 700 real estate professionals and staff in 21 offices in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, and Nevada. As part of the firm’s strategic growth plan, in the last three years, it has opened seven offices in Southern California including Glendale, San Diego, Carlsbad, Orange County, Inland Empire, Commerce, El Segundo, and a new office is scheduled to open in downtown Los Angeles in a few weeks.

Kidder Mathews attributes its fast-growing success to its unique platform, and to the national trend of consolidation in the commercial real estate industry among publicly held firms, which is typically not favorable to professional service providers. Kidder Mathews is a privately held firm that is known for its strong marketing and research support, a streamlined management structure, opportunity for equity for its professionals, and a commission structure that is considerably more favorable to its brokers than its competitors. Due to the attractive environment, the firm boasts 43 Best Places to Work Awards in various publications in California, Washington, and Oregon.
