Luxury Real Estate Development Clear Creek Tahoe Hires Seasoned Hospitality Director

Exclusive Residential Community Enlists Franck Savoy as General Manager to Spearhead Enhanced Amenity Collection

LAKE TAHOE, NEVADA — Clear Creek Tahoe, a premier private residential community and club in the mountains just east of Lake Tahoe, signaled its commitment to creating one of the finest amenity collections in the country by hiring seasoned hospitality director Franck Savoy as its General Manager. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality management, Savoy will be responsible for all operations at the property.

Savoy’s hire based on his exemplary hospitality background also highlights a growing trend within the luxury real estate industry, as exclusive communities nationwide continue to offer members more elevated experiences. Developers who are adding more world-class, five-star resort-worthy amenities and programming are increasingly hiring leading hospitality industry executives away from esteemed resorts and country clubs to lead their impressive suite of residential amenities.

Savoy joins Clear Creek Tahoe from Disneyland Paris, where he served as the Director of F&B Products and Director of On-Site Communication. Savoy was responsible for overseeing new projects, menus and products for 55 restaurants, 13 bars and 67 kiosks throughout the resort. Prior to Disneyland Paris, he served as the Director of Operations at Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, California, one of The Leading Hotels of the World, where he managed food and beverage, room division as well as the engineering of the hotel. Savoy has worked at several other resorts nationwide including the Hilton Nashville, Four Seasons New York and Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. At Caesars Palace, Savoy held the position of Food and Beverage and Pools Director where he opened successful restaurants such as Old Homestead Steakhouse, Beijing Noodle Number 9, Central from Michel Richard, Payard Bistro, and Guy Savoy Restaurant.

“Clear Creek’s vision is to provide lifetime memories for our members, and their families and friends. Franck’s deep understanding of the hospitality industry coupled with his exemplary background made him an obvious choice for Clear Creek,” said Leisha Ehlert, VP of Asset Management at Castle Hill Partners. “His ability to improve member and guest experiences through the implementation of creative and strategic plans for our luxury suite of amenities will play a key role in Clear Creek’s sales success. We are thrilled to have him on the team.”

Along with a staff of 75, Savoy will help introduce Clear Creek’s bespoke amenities, including its 18-hole championship Coore & Crenshaw golf course, state-of-the-art wellness center and spa, family campus with pools and tennis courts, and clubhouse.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the talented team at Clear Creek Tahoe,” said Savoy. “The enviable location, exquisite service and modern amenities are only a few of the amazing assets that the property has to offer. I am looking forward to capitalizing on the unparalleled amenity suite to maximize residents’ experience at this exceptional community.”

Clear Creek Tahoe features 391 total home sites ranging from just over one-half to nearly five acres. The homesites are as dramatic and diverse as the land itself, offering spectacular views in every direction. Homes can sit on a gently sloping hillside, near the golf course, or along a mountain trail—each providing a different panoramic view of the mountains above and green valleys below. As the Coore & Crenshaw golf course on property seamlessly blends with its natural surroundings, only a select number of homesites front the golf course. The gentle topography of Clear Creek, which is nestled between the mountains, considerably reduces the complexity and cost of site and foundation work, and construction is permissible year-round. In addition to the state tax advantage, Clear Creek is also within the county that features the lowest real estate taxes in the state.

The limited membership at Clear Creek Tahoe has already welcomed more than 100 members. Homesites range from $250,000-$1,750,000. For more information visit www.clearcreektahoe.com
