Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker, LLP Welcomes Attorney Catherine W. Delorey to California Office

SEATTLE, Washington, October 29, 2012 – Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker, LLP, one of the Northwest’s most respected law firms with practice areas in construction, government contracts, business law and commercial litigation, has brought construction litigation attorney Catherine W. Delorey aboard to practice in the firm’s California office, which opened last May.

Delorey represents general contractors, subcontractors, owners, sureties and suppliers on public and private construction contract disputes. She has experience resolving disputes through contract claims hearings, informal negotiation and mediation regarding a variety of issues, including differing site conditions, nondisclosure, delays and acceleration, termination, extra work and retention withholding.

Delorey also has experience representing clients in arbitration and in trial and appellate courts on projects such as heavy highway construction and undergrounding utility lines in urban neighborhoods.

Prior to joining Oles Morrison, she was an attorney at the Oakland-based law firm of McInerney & Dillon, P.C.

Delorey earned her law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2001. She also received an Environmental Law Program Certificate, was an associate articles editor of The Business Lawyer, a legal writing fellow and teaching assistant.  She received her undergraduate degree from University of Maryland, College Park in 1998.

Delorey is a member of the bar in California and Virginia, and of the bar of the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, Southern, and Eastern Districts of California, and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Ninth and Fourth Circuits. She is also active in the Greater East Bay Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction.
