The Canary Center at Stanford and its associated Canary Challenge event seeks to raise funds to develop a blood test that will provide for the early detection of cancer. According to Canary Foundation Associate Team Manager, Lara Cutkosky, “Early detection is clinically proven to result in improved outcomes. The Canary Challenge event supports the Canary Foundation by hosting the bike/run/walk event. Cyclist participants will ride 50-kilometers to 100 miles, while runners and walkers will participate in the 5-kilometer event. Key sponsors of the challenge include Hewlett Packard, Avaya, El Camino Hospital, VMware and others.”
“Pacific Urban Residential is proud to be associated with the Canary Challenge. All of us are touched by cancer… family, friends, business associates. We are honored to ride, run and walk to raise funds to fight this insidious disease. I must also admit it has also been a pleasure to see our team members train for this event!” states PUR CEO Al Pace.
