Daniel Glaessl, Lukas Sosna to bolster Gensler’s Architectural Design team SAN JOSE – Globally renowned architecture and design firm, Gensler, announces today that it has added architectural design director Daniel Glaessl and architect Lukas Sosna to the San Jose office.
Daniel and Lukas, who previously worked for Foster + Partners, will develop strategies to enhance the delivery of Gensler’s architectural and urban design services. Some of their past notable clients include: Apple, Comcast, and Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts.

With a focus on sustainable design, Daniel has spent his 15-year career leading mixed-use, residential, corporate headquarters, and urban design projects. Daniel’s wide portfolio of work spans the globe and includes the South Beach Development in Singapore, Comcast Technology Center in Philadelphia, and technology companies in Silicon Valley. Daniel received a Master of Architecture from the University of Kaiserslautern and a Master of Science in City Design and Social Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
For over a decade, Lukas has worked on a wide range of design and architecture projects internationally. His experience includes projects from mixed-use, educational buildings, office campus developments to urban planning and construction management. He also has a strong research and development background in sustainable design. Lukas received a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Technical University of Berlin.
