SAN JOSE, Calif. – S.E.A. Medical Systems, Inc., a health-tech company focused on safety and management of IV medicine, today announced it will be celebrating its Grand Opening of its new facility located in North San Jose at 61 Daggett Dr. on July 11, 2012 starting at 12:00pm. This state-of-the-art facility will provide much-needed office and laboratory space to support SEA Medical’s transition to a product development and commercial organization, and to house a rapidly-growing workforce.
The Grand Opening celebration will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Councilmember Kansen Chu (District 4) will make remarks and welcome this innovative business to the 10th largest city in the country. Gail Maderis, President and CEO of BayBio, Northern California’s Life Science Association, and SEA Medical CEO Michael Weickert will also be on hand to cut the ribbon.

SEA Medical Open House, facility tours, and BBQ buffet take place after 5:00 p.m. Special guests Ridley Barron from the Ridley Barron Ministries, Chris Jerry from the Emily Jerry Foundation, and SEA Medical founders will give presentations from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
