OAKLAND, Calif., June 28, 2018 – R. Zachary Wasserman, a Real Estate and Land Use Partner with Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean LLP, the largest law firm in the East Bay representing businesses throughout the Bay Area and the state, has been elected chair of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. Wasserman’s term began on June 27 and was announced at the Chamber’s annual meeting and awards luncheon.

“The Chamber has played a pivotal role in the continued economic development of Oakland, and it’s an honor to serve as chair at such an exciting time in the city’s evolution,” said Wasserman. “As a firm, Wendel Rosen has long been committed to the health and prosperity of its home city, and we continue to follow in the footsteps of David Wendel, who served as chair of the Chamber from 1984 to 1987 and as legal counsel for decades. I look forward to continuing this tradition in his honor in 2018.”
