Wunderlich Team with Terra Firma Global Partners Sells First Two Condos Available to the Public in Historic Glen Ellen Converted Hotel

Glen Ellen, TERRA FIRMA GLOBAL PARTNERS, Commercial Real Estate News, North Bay, Napa

Chauvet Building 2A (4)Glen Ellen, CA– Terry Wunderlich and Chris Wunderlich, both Associate Partners with North Bay-based Terra Firma Global Partners, have sold the first two condominium homes available to the public in historic The Chauvet building in downtown Glen Ellen, announced co-founders Bill Facendini and Heidi Rickerd-Rizzo.

Built in 1906 and opened in 1907 as a hotel, The Chauvet was converted to six condominium homes in 2007 and one of the units was acquired by one of the investors originally involved with the conversion. The three-story building has two condos per floor, each averaging approximately 1,800 square feet and each condo is on one level.

Two weeks ago the Wunderlichs sold a top-floor condo for $829,500 and more recently closed on a second-floor home priced in the high $700,000s. Three of the condominium homes remain available to purchase and the two ground-floor units are zoned as live/work opportunities for buyers, according to Terry Wunderlich.

Acquired by a group of investors in 1996, the boarded up, abandoned property on Arnold Drive in the village of Glen Ellen was seismically renovated with much of its original charm retained after a substantial renovation to the property. The building is on the National Registrar of Historic Buildings. The modern condos are loaded with amenities and feature:

  • 3 bedrooms/2 luxurious baths
  • Elevators access to second-and-third stories
  • Gourmet kitchens
  • Grand ceiling heights
  • Four-brick thick walls locally made
  • Private patios or decks
  • Central heat and air conditioning
  • Soundproofing and Low E dual windows
  • The property has a heated pool and sundeck

“In our industry property is often marketed as unique or one-of-a-kind and in this case it is absolutely true – there is nothing like it on the market. In addition to second-home buyers, the remaining and available condos are attracting interest from local people,” said Terry Wunderlich.

The Wunderlich team is based in Terra Firma’s Napa office.
