Cost Plus World Market® and buybuy BABY® will be joining the newly redeveloped Serramonte Center in Daly City, CA. Cost Plus World Market and buybuy BABY will be co-occupying a brand new 38,000 square foot building being developed in the center scheduled to open late 2016. Cost Plus World Market, which will be located in approximately 18,000 square feet in the new building, is relocating from its current store at the Westlake Center. Don Krieger and Drew Greenspan with Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Services group represented the tenants in the transaction.
Serramonte Center is a super-regional shopping center located at the intersection of California State Highway 1 and Interstate 280 on the south end of San Francisco. The owner, Equity One, is currently underway with a more than $100 million redevelopment and expansion of the mall per its web site. Serramonte Center features other anchor retailers such as Target, JCPenney, Macy’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Forever 21 and H&M.
