SAN JOSE, CA — Cresa, North America’s (and the Bay Area’s) largest tenant representation commercial real estate firm, was recently recognized by Inc. Magazine’s inaugural Hire Power Awards, which rank small and mid-sized private businesses by the number of new jobs they generated from 2008 to 2011.

Cresa, which has almost 800 employees, generated 79 jobs from 2008 to 2011, placing it #10 among the top 10 private business job creators within the real estate industry for companies with annual sales of $100-$250 million.

“Cresa’s culture is recognized by clients and prospective employees alike as an attribute that makes us unique in our industry,” says Managing Principal Mike Michaels. “We are very proud to have earned this distinction, which is a testament to our collaborative approach and partnership model.”

In total, the top 100 companies on the list generated more than 73,000 American jobs during the three-year period. To qualify, companies must have been founded before January 1, 2008, and be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent.
