Cushman & Wakefield’s Broker Madness To Benefit Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area Is A Huge Success

C&W’s Broker Madness, which took place at Tony & Alba’s in San Jose on Thursday March 28th, raised $5,225 for Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area.  Cushman & Wakefield’s Silicon Valley office teamed up hosts and sponsors to bring the commercial real estate community together for a good spirited, yet very competitive pizza eating competition.  The funds raised at C&W’s Broker Madness will help grant wishes to local children battling life-threatening medical conditions.

“Credit for the event’s success goes to our volunteers and sponsors, including host Tony & Alba’s Pizza, media partner The Registry and sponsors Terra Law, Devcon Construction, Real Capital Markets and Third Day Interiors,” says Event Host Jeff Cushman,  Cushman & Wakefield’s Executive Managing Director for Silicon Valley.  Jeff added, “The Silicon Valley commercial real estate community really came together for this event to benefit a great charity.”

Winning C&W’s Broker Madness was the Kidder Mathews “Wrecking Crew” team, which included Craig Peterson, Bruce Matesso, Jimmy Cacho and Clark Hagman who finished all four XL pizzas in a record-breaking 28 minutes.  Second place went to Cushman & Wakefield’s “Virgin Sturgeons” team: Steve Lee, Michael McMillan, Walt Stephenson, Jason Palda and third place went to CB Richard Ellis’ “CBRE” team: Ben Caputo, Vincent Scott, Mike Charters and Ben Knight

Cushman & Wakefield greatly appreciates the involvement of all sponsors and participants who helped make this event a success and we look forward to more events to support Make-A-Wish.
