The Habit Burger Grill will be opening its first location on California’s Central Coast, leasing 2,400 square feet of space for a new restaurant in the city of Santa Cruz. The Habit’s inaugural coastal location will be in a newly developed retail building located at 1314 Ocean Street, a main city thoroughfare, that will also feature a few national retailers. The multi-tenant property is positioned in an excellent corner location on northern Ocean Street, within a block of the California Highway 1 and California Highway17 interchange. Annie Prupas and Michael Seigel with Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Services group represented The Habit in the transaction.
The Habit’s new coastal restaurant arrives in conjunction with its ongoing expansion throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Ms. Prupas, a Senior Vice President with Cushman & Wakefield, said, “The Habit is excited to be establishing itself in Santa Cruz where it will provide the residents and visitors of this popular beachfront city with another quality restaurant.” She added, “The Habit is also looking to further establish itself on this side of the hill as we are currently working with our client in search of additional locations in this coastal region, particularly in Monterey County.”
