Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse Wine & Bar will be opening its second location in Silicon Valley this year. Fleming’s leased 6,555 square feet of space for its fine dining restaurant at the Santa Clara Square Marketplace, a new Whole Foods-anchored retail center set within the larger Santa Clara Square mixed-use community owned and currently being developed by Irvine Company. The property is located at the southeast corner of Bowers Avenue (Great America Parkway) and U.S. Route 101, close to Levi’s Stadium. Fleming’s is anticipated to open its first Santa Clara restaurant in the latter half of 2016—its other nearest location is in the city of Palo Alto. Flemings will offer USDA Prime beef (wet and dry), fresh fish and poultry, plus other signature dishes and sides. Also featured is Fleming’s 100®, its award-winning wine collection offering 100 top rated and/or unique local wines that are hand selected. There is also a bar menu with beer and cocktails. Mike Costa with Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Services group represented the tenant in the transaction.
Fleming’s is part of Bloomin’ Brands, one of the world’s largest casual dining companies which also owns and operates Outback Steakhouse, Carabba’s Italian Grill and Bonefish Grill.
