The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB), a private, non-profit corporation under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services, has signed a long-term lease for 24,811 square feet at One Corporate Centre in Concord, CA. RCEB leased the entire third floor of the Class A building located at 1320 Willow Pass Road. The nonprofit is expected to relocate from its existing office on Salvio Street early this summer. Its new office is part of a two-building campus owned by Concord Corporate Centre, LLC. The location provides RCEB with immediate access to Interstate 680 and California Highway 242 and is also close to BART and other amenities. Cale Miller, Chris Baker, Chris Johnke and Cameron Love with Cushman & Wakefield’s Walnut Creek and San Francisco offices represented the tenant in the transaction.
Regional centers are nonprofit private corporations that contract with the Department of Developmental Services to provide or coordinate services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities. They have offices throughout California to provide a local resource to help find and access the many services available to individuals and their families. The RCEB serves Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
