Rob Cockrum Joins NOVO Construction as Project Executive

Menlo Park, CA (May 21, 2019) – NOVO Construction, the premiere Bay Area-based commercial general contractor announced today that industry veteran Rob Cockrum has joined their team. In his new role as Project Executive, Cockrum will oversee a dedicated team of construction professionals committed to delivering a wide variety of projects on time and within budget, ensuring the highest levels of quality, compliance and safety.

A well-known expert with over 20 years project and construction management experience, Cockrum derived his expertise working with top-tier corporate clients on a wide range of challenging projects. His areas of specialization include tenant improvements, corporate campuses, retail projects, MEP infrastructure, and fast-track projects.

Cockrum founded The CRE Group, an independent real estate project management firm based in San Francisco in 2007. During his time at The CRE Group, Cockrum personally managed projects and oversaw a team of 50 project managers on the West Coast working with a myriad of high tech, startup and Fortune 100 clients across the country. Cockrum sold The CRE Group to Newmark Knight Frank in 2016.

Prior to founding The CRE Group, Cockrum was a Vice President at JLL in Northern California. While at JLL, he led the national field project management team for the Cisco Systems account and delivered projects for a variety of corporate clients throughout the United States.
