SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Syska Hennessy Group, the international engineering firm, has opened an office in Sacramento. Located at 1201 J Street in the city’s downtown, the new office is the firm’s sixth in California and its 20th worldwide. Jose Herrera, senior principal of Syska, will oversee the office, with operational and technical support from associate partners Sami El Khoury and Seth Sherman.
Syska has its west coast headquarters in Los Angeles, with other regional offices in Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley. “Sacramento, the state capital, is the fastest-growing city in California,” says Gary Brennen, co-president of Syska Hennessy. “Our intention is to leverage this location to attract even more talent to Syska.”
“Sacramento has become a center of real estate development,” says John Passanante, Syska executive principal and head of the firm’s western region. “It’s a good place for us to be in the coming years as demand for engineering services grows.”
