Alameda, Calif. – Jamestown, a leading national real estate investment and management firm, has announced the addition of two new eateries at South Shore Center, a family-friendly dining, shopping and entertainment destination located on the waterfront in Alameda, Calif.
Bagel Street Café, a popular family-owned café known for their fresh baked bagels, homemade cream cheese spreads, and gourmet lunch sandwiches, is opening a new location at South Shore Center. The bagel shop, which signed a 10-year-lease for 2,323 square feet, will open this summer in the space located next to Old Navy. SRS Real Estate Partners’ broker Bob Quigley handled the lease transaction for the Bagel Street Café.
The Best Lil’ Porkhouse, a regional barbeque restaurant serving organic, humanely raised meats, is opening its third location later this year at South Shore Center. The restaurant signed a 10-year lease for 3,639 square feet of space located in Neptune Court just passed Loard’s. The Best Lil’ Porkhouse also has restaurants in San Rafael and Corte Madera, Calif.
Julie Taylor, senior vice president of Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank, the exclusive leasing agent for South Shore Center, and associate Stephen Rusher, represented owner Jamestown in the transaction.
Locally owned Trabocco Kitchen and Cocktails, an Italian restaurant established by Alameda residents Chef Giuseppe Naccarelli, a native of Palombaro, Italy, and his wife, Christine, opened for business at South Shore Center last November and just recently began serving lunch. The new lunch hours are 11:30am- 4:00pm.

The center has a long-standing presence in the City of Alameda and is a local gathering place for residents and visitors in the Bay Area.
